What Is Calcined Alumina?

Calcined alumina is an aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃), which is made by heating aluminium hydroxides, which are usually gibbsite obtained by Bayer method, to an elevated temperature ranging from about 1000 to 1300 ° C. in rotary or shaft kilns.
